Stop Changing Windows WallPaper

Windows + R (Run Window)



Open the Registry Editor and browse to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies



Right-click the Policies key on the left side, select New -> Key. Name it ActiveDesktop.

3. With the new ActiveDesktop key selected, right-click any empty space on the right side, select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name the new DWORD NoChangingWallPaper and set its value to 1.



4. Reboot your computer for the changes to take effect. Your desktop background is now protected and anyone can not tamper it. When you right-click on a image and select “Set as desktop background” from context menu, nothing will happen.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Personalization

Right-click on the right side, select New -> Key. Name it ActiveDesktop.

3. With the new ActiveDesktop key selected, right-click any empty space on the right side, select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name the new DWORD NoChangingLockScreen and set its value to 1.



Partitioning of Drive

Create a partition from unpartitioned space with these steps:

1.     Right-click This PC and select Manage.

2.     Open Disk Management.

3.     Select the disk from which you want to make a partition.

(Use “Shrink Volume” option to partition already existed drive.)

4.     Right-click the Unpartitioned space in the bottom pane and select New Simple Volume.

5.     Enter the size and click next, and you are done.

Hide a Drive from Users:

To disallow certain users to access the contents of a folder/drive:

1. In File Explorer, right-click the drive on which you want to deny access to specific users, and then click Properties.

 

 



 

2. Select the Security tab, then click the Edit button.

 



3. Select “Users” and Click “Remove” to select the user you want to prevent from accessing your drive.



5. Then the drive will be displayed like follows:



4. Type the username* of the user you want to restrict access to, and to confirm, click Check Names. Then select OK. *

* Note: You need to know the correct username of the account you want to restrict. An easy way to view the users on your pc, is to to view the names of the profile folders under the "C:\Users\" folder.

 

Again getting back the rights to access a Drive

To disallow certain users to access the contents of a folder/drive:

1. In File Explorer, right-click the drive on which you want to deny access to specific users, and then click Properties.

 

 



 

2. Select the Security tab, then click the Advanced button.

 



3. From the below window, Click on “Change”.

Then Click on Advanced



Then Click on “Find Now”



Then Select the user name to which you want Access, click on “OK”.



Click On “OK”.
